We came for some peaceful sister time, and we are leaving with the sense of peace we were looking for and new friends (Todd).
Ed, Sarah, Mark and the gentleman who is “building” the attic were so-o-o-o friendly! Warmth and welcome could be felt from the second we walked in the front parlor door. The extra mile was like a five mile marathon! Thank You!! Our room, The Cross Creek, was perfect! Cheerful, warm, smiling sunshine. I especially loved the book “Cross Creek” left in our room. It added the sense of reality that Cross Creek is a real place. Ed gave us a personal tour of the main house and the carriage house! Now we’ll be back to stay in every room. Every room is beautifully decorated, each with its own personality. The kitchen is definitely Sarah’s. She was so efficient and friendly. The dinner Sarah prepared for us was, as we Floridians say “off the chain” meaning extraordinary. Breakfast was also excellent. We Thank You! And we can’t wait to come back and bring our mom. Another wonderful stay at the beautiful Ann Stevens House. We enjoyed the company at the Pub downstairs and at breakfast. Our 2 year anniversary was so relaxing. It’s gone by so fast since our first stay here on our wedding night as Mr. & Mrs. Michael L. We’ll surely be here soon enough for another peaceful stay. What an amazing 3 days! Never in my wildest dreams did I expect what an experience I could have. Janet is an amazing person. She is the best! Boy can she cook. She made our stay remarkable.
